Overview

Seattle's Best Coffee in Makati City, located at Ponte Salcedo, Salcedo Village, stands as a reliable haven for coffee lovers and casual diners alike. This coffee shop marries a cozy yet bustling atmosphere with a menu that offers well-prepared, hearty options beyond just great coffee. The renovated space invites both solo patrons seeking a quiet moment with Wi-Fi access and groups looking for a comfortable spot to enjoy a meal or a drink.

The highlight of Seattle’s Best is its commitment to freshly cooked dishes, a detail that sets it apart from many coffee chains that rely heavily on reheated items. Popular choices include their Americano and cappuccino, along with distinctive ice-blended Javakulas like the Classic and Raspberry Javanilla, which perfectly balance flavor and refreshment. Their food offerings, such as the cheesy ensaymada and adobo, provide a Filipino twist that complements the western-style selections like smoked salmon panini and various bagels filled with savory ingredients. The breakfast fare, including big breakfast platters loaded with eggs, sausages, and pancakes, satisfies those looking for a substantial start to their day.

Customers often praise the attentive staff and seamless service, especially since the shop resumed dine-in operations post-pandemic. The ambiance blends casual comfort with a refined, classy vibe, supported by well-maintained spaces and amenities such as dedicated smoking areas and public restrooms. While some patrons note occasional intrusions of cigarette smoke at times, the overall environment remains favorable for those wanting a relaxed yet vibrant venue.

Seattle’s Best Coffee targets a diverse audience—from urban professionals looking for a midday recharge to friends gathering for a laid-back meal. Its location in the heart of Makati makes it an accessible option for both residents and office workers. With convenient parking options and power outlets for digital nomads, it successfully caters to modern-day needs without sacrificing the essence of a traditional coffee shop experience.

UPDATE (Aug 10, 2022): they have resumed to restaurant-style operations. If you are dining it, you will be asked to sit and they will take your order. Take out customers can still proceed to the counter. ------- My last visit in this branch was pre-pandemic so it was nice to come back to a renovated ambience but still with the same delicious food and drinks. They cook their food-- which says A LOT vs other popular coffee shops which now just reheat the food in the glass counter. Great customer service as always. Will definitely come back.

Good food and drinks. Ordered the tuna croissant and iced chai tea latte. The croissant was flavorful and filling. The iced chai had the right amount of sweetness. Both were at decent serving size for the price. The only negative to the place is the smell of cigarette smoke. I'm unsure if it's because someone who smoked recently went inside the store or if the smoke does, in fact, enter when the doors open.

They’re open 24 hours on Mondays through Fridays. The staff service was good, they were engaging and attentive to our requested order. All day breakfast was good, I liked the french toast with eggs and bacon. Space could be cleaner as there were a few fruit flies.

This place would be incredible but it's right next to an indoor smoking area. There's a door leading in from the smoking area, so every time theb for opens in wafts the smell of cigarettes. Even worse, the smokers prop open the door penalty to help ventilation, which means the place reeks of cigarettes. Really unfortunate and surprising about the smoking area.
